I found these posts on eurovan2.com which when checked , told me I was running version 5.4 in my C8. I hooked up the ipod through the 3 way jack in the glove box and it works ok until you set off, then it shuts down as a safety feature once you pull away. I understand this if you were to play movies but it would be good to have for the music.

Just to inform you that it is possible to activate the AUX input on the 5.5 VAN 307. I just had it done yesterday.

 

I went to a Citroën "Chrono Center" (in France these are small garages that service Citroen cars quickly) and the guy tried with its last version of Lexia (even though he told me it wasn't Lexia but Sagem....). He selected C5 as being my car and he could take full control of it.... and enamble the aux sockets !!!

 

Conclusion :

1. Don't go to a big Citroen dealer and choose a smaller Citroen equipped center(well that is true in France maybe in Germany they won't be as stupid and busy.....)

2. Don't forget to activate the AUX yourself afterwards through the Control panel (not the "Audio" menu but the "Settings/Audio" menu)
