I've used both confused.com and Moneysupermarket.com that both quoted RAC as one of the cheaper Car insurers for a C3 Diesel as long as you don't want protected no claims bonus or a courtesy car ( Avoid Churchill and Directline-despite all the adverts they turned out to be very expensive).

 

What surprised me with RAC is if you are already a member you get 10% discount on line and after a month they give you £50 cashback for taking Car insurance out with them.

 

I don't know how expensive insurance is on other models but having £50 off the final bill is surely a bonus to most peoples budgets isn't it
