Guest Clive W Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Hi I'm new on here so bare with me. I have a c3 1.1L I'm now looking at putting speakers into the car. I have checked the front and see that I need 13cm speakers. The back seams tricker to check as the window handle is against the speaker grill and not sure how to get it off at the moment.Anyway does anyone now what size of speaker fits into the rear of the car. Oh I do not want to mount any speakers onto the parcel shelf. Not much space in boot once pushchair is loaded. Clive Quote

I have a 1.4 Desire, although I believe they would be the same size. If anyone has any info that would be great. Jamie Quote
raveydavey Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Any decent aftermarket audio specialist (or failing that, Halfords) should be able to sort you out. All the main speaker manufacturers have ranges of upgrade speakers that fit into the standard apertures in almost every car in production, just ask what they have. That has the added advantage that any thieving scumbags looking through your windows will just see standard factory speaker grilles and not realise you've got anything worth nicking. The likes of Unicar and Toad will even probably offer a mobile fitting service if you want it. Quote
