mattoufc Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Hi all! I hope someone can help me. My Fiacee's Saxo (2000 Forte) recently started to idle wildly. After taking it to a garage, the mechanic said it will need a replacement Idle Control Valve. Instead of paying over the odds to have it done at a garage, I wondered if any of you guys knew how easy it was to isolate and replace the Idle Control Valve on this model? Also, the mechanic apparently mentioned that if I were to find a Throttle Body, that I wouldn't also need an Idle Control Valve, but I can't imagine replacing JUST the Throttle Body would remedy the main problem. What do I need andhow easy will it be to do it?! Thanks. Quote
