could someone please tell me if it is difficult to change this item as mine has a fault many thx

Hi,

I am having problems with my heater blower and have removed certain items in order to gain full access to the heater contol unit. In doing so I have also removed the dash board digital clock and radio display.

I had to remove the plastic casing around the heater control unit and the digital display. It clips into place, so in order to remove it, carefully use a flat edged knife, preferably a butter knife or something similar. Carefully prise open one end of the casing, then at the same time try to prise open the opposite end, you may be able to use your fingers - ( this would be preferable as you won't mark the plastic casing or any surrounding plastic etc.) You could also possibly use another knife. It should unclip itself. Afterwards, you should see the screws (these are special TORX headed screws) that secure the heater controls and your digital display etc. Unscrew them and then you'll have to pull the display forward and then release the electrical connector from the rear of the display. Good luck!

P.s - my car is the Citroen Xsara, hopefully yours is the same. I hope this helps. Good luck!
