Gary Marks Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I can't see a post on this... so not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem. I have a C4 VTR+ with a recurrent squeek, usually when cold and gradually disappears. I can hear it when I accelerate or change speed. I seems to happen as the engine moves on its mountings. My dealer has replaced the flange a couple of times - it goes away for a while then it's back again. Anyone know of a cure? Quote
iannez Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 cover the compresion gskt in copper slip. make sure the heat shield on the steering rack has not worked its way up and is rubbing against the exhaust. Quote
Gary Marks Posted September 10, 2007 Author Posted September 10, 2007 Thanks - just heard from the dealer and apparently Citroen have a part modification... I think they said ball joint... on back order so hoping this will fix once and for all. Quote
