Hi all

We've a 2004 C8 SX, when the car is first started we get a message display 'Braking Fault', it doesn't happen everytime and it never displays when the car is moving or under braking?

Is this something we should be really worried about or could it be the start of an electric fault? :(

Anybody have any ideas

Thanks,

Cad Monkey!

I had a problem like this at one point that turned out to be a fault with the turbo system, and I've had another one where the brake light fault light kept coming on... for about 2 weeks and then it went off and stopped coming on. Sorry that's not much help. Someone told me that it might mean the car is low on brake fluid but you'd better get it checked out as it's brakes.

I have the same problem. Doesn't happen that often and I've chosen to ignore it :)
