Guest stroglec2 Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 When i do sharp rite turns on the road my car makes a funny noise which turns into a huge loud drinding noise which stops if I brake. the noise comes about 15/30mins into a drive. I took it into the garage they said that it was the pads and disks so i had them replaced. When drivin my car after about 15/30 mins again the noise comes back so i take it back to the garage, He says it could be a bearing in the wheel (so i have it replaced)I Drive the car again and the noise it still there Has any1 else had a problem like this/ or know would it could be? Sounds like the CV joint...Its a common problem on any front wheel drive car...the C.V. gaitor might have split and allowed dirt in to wear the joint prematurely..... I have an N reg Rover that just passed its mot with the same problem.... Quote
Andy Jones Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 I had the same problem with my car which turned out to be a split CV Boot. I would get it replaced asap, as the longer you leave it the more damage you will do. Try these guys for cheap Citroen Car Parts. Quote
