myke Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 My 04 1.9D does not have a passenger air bag but the fascia panel where it would normally fit is flat. Vans have a cubby hole there which is simply a plastic moulding the same overall shape as the blanking panel on mine. Can this moulding be substituted for the existing one or is their some electrical gubbins behind the panel which would prevent this? Quote
Oxymoron Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Hi,I would imagine that it would be a straight swap over?....I recently drove a works van with the storage space and thought it was a shame that my car couldn't have the same cubby hole! Why not unscrew it and have a look behind?Cheerz. :D Quote
bx1983 Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 HI there ive got a series2 forte hdi and actually work at a citroen dealership- this was something that i had thought of doing to my own car- however the vans have a dashboard moulding that includes the storage cubby behind it and the multispaces do not as the space is left for the airbag or in mycase an empty aibag pouch.Very frustrating and a waste of space if you aint got an airbag!
