Guest Masters - Citeron - Penge Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 The C3 Pluriel has it's good points however i am here to ask people what they think of the roof bars. These are the bars that hold the roof in place. You can take these off to make them a full blown convertible... however. Once you have taken these bars off there is no-where to put them without them falling all over you or out the back of the car. They are huge! So for a nice trip into the country or the city it wouldn't be very nice if it started to rain, and woh behold... no roof because we had to leave it at home! Not very practical and would have been much better off with a electronically folding roof! Like many other cars have! Quote

(12 kg) each, are among the largest aluminium extrusions used in the automotive industry. Supplied by Wagon plc."We've done studies, and only 5% of the people will take off the arches," says a Citroen spokeswoman. It depends on your countries climate and if you have a garage. If you live in Spain (where the car is built) then you can probably trust the weather not to change on you whilst you are out sans roof bars. There are many things about the Pluriel which make it a car you can live with or just too quirky. The flat bed truck option which makes the car illegal on the road as with the boot down the rear number plate is not visible; the hit and miss protection from the elements depending upon if your particular car is full of leaks or not; the way they neglect to mention how to reset the trip computer in the owners handbook; the fact you can set the alarm off by unlocking another Pluriel parked close by. I guess these are the kind of things that make it a future classic. IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote
