Xantha Motor Wont Turn Over

Hi i have a L reg xantha the other day i went to the petrol station and after filling up the car had no power to the starter done all the right things like locked the car doors and waited 3 mins for the imobiliser to reset but no joy went to work came back to garrage and it started first time i put this down to the imobiliser not resetting because my wife was still sitting in the car. Two days later it wont start again when you turn the key nothing happens do you think it could be the imobiliser playing up or is it something else

hmmm certianly sounds like it. I was lucky lol, didn't have the immobiliser fitted so I can't really give you advice on it m8..

 

Have trawl though the forum regarding immobilser problems , it might shed some light on it.

 

I would also check to see if any battery leads or earthing points are loose, especially on the starter motor.... It could be as simple as that which it often is with many other makes of car. ;)
