i rose Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I hope this helps, I recently had a problem with the rear of the car not wanting to get up to hieght when started and was given a great tip by a specialist garrage, once a week excersise the car by going throght each hieght on the lever hieght adjuster. This has cured mine and it keeps the hieght adjuster valve or mecanism from sticking. He also reminded me not to lubricate it from under the car unless it was choked up and could not fall, they had a few injuries when peopele fiddled with the valve from under the car causing it to sink on them.I have a M reg Xantia and want to change the rear spees as the ride is bumpy, how do I de pressurise as I have heard the speres can really goe off if not un pressurised. Thanks Ian Quote

Guest Peter34 Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Hi,To depressurise the system , there is below the front centre sphere a bolt head 13mm I think, unscrew this about a turn and a half and it drops the pressure in the whole system.Don't run the engine until you've finished or you will put the pressure back.Peter Quote
