Hi All,

I am looking for sources of technical info on the Xantia suspension - quite in depth info! I plan to use the suspension struts and spheres from the rear of a Xantia on a scratch build project, in order to design the setup around these I obviously need to know as much as possible - some of the most pressing info at the moment needed is:

  1. Total travel length of the actuator rod in the strut.
  2. Lever ratio of trailing arm (i.e. distance from pivot to rear wheel centre and distance of pivot to actuating rod)
  3. Pressure of gas in spheres
  4. Diameter or cross sectional area of the piston in the strut

Other than that, ANY info you can give would be helpful. I've been a Citroen owner for many years and have a thorough understanding of how it works (had them apart enough times

) unfortunately I've never had the forethought to check all these various bits out while I've had one in pieces!

Many thanks for any help.
