terrwilk Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Does anyone know if the trip computer is fitted to all C3's and just needs activating. Mine is an exclusive 16v 1.4 HDI Quote
hertsnminds Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 According to Citroen's UK website the only C3 in the range not to have a Multi-function on-board trip computer is the XTR, all others; L, LX, Desire, SX, Stop & Start and the Exclusive have that feature as standard. The XTR also seems to be missing these features that the rest ofthe range has: Automatic door locking (when car in motion) Automatic re-locking after 30 seconds (when using the plip - if the doors and boot remain unopened) Child lock indicator and dashboard mounted child locks control 'Guide me home' headlamps which can be selected to stay on 60 seconds after ignition is switched off High level third brake light (I thought all cars had to have these by law???) Not that Citroen litertautre is anything to go by. Ian Orange 03 Senso Quote
CE08LDB Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 thats unusual. I have a C3 SX but I like the XTR I love the looks on it. The third stop lamp don't bother me. Mine don't work on the SX anyway. Or less I tap it before I start a journey Quote
stimulatorc3 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005
Does anyone know if the trip computer is fitted to all C3's and just needs activating. Mine is an exclusive 16v 1.4 HDI
To use the trip computer (if you haven't found how by now) press the centre of the ineer half of the right hand stalk. The top and bottom edges change radio stations or CD tracks, the middle cycles through the trip readouts in order DATE Disatnce from fill up distance to fill up average MPG instant mpg average MPH date Quote
jazzster Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Does the computer know when you refill or do you have to reset it. Have not got mine yet so was just wondering. Quote
hertsnminds Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Both the Trip milage and the Averages (MPH/MPG) must be manually and independently reset. You will also find that after you have done more than 150 miles the averages start to become inacurate. If you do not reset things for a couple of thousand miles your averavge MPH will fall to less than 10 :D Ian Orange 03 Senso Quote
Igloo_Vindaloo Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Anyone know what's involved in retro-fitting a trip computer? Mine doesn't have one. Unless I'm missing something! Quote
organist Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Wouldn't bother retrofitting a trip computer - just get a new car! Quote
