SMR Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Thinking of buying a C2 VTS 1.6HDi and wondered if members are happy with the ones they have. Quote
wozza Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Chances are not going to be many people on here with one. Know a lot of people love the engine in the other cars though and a remap alone takes it up towards the 140 - 150bhp mark. Which on a little car is pretty good fun. Especially when you get better MPG as well. Would like to try one myself. Quote
Guest Andy Allman Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 It only came out a few weeks ago, son't think its too popular at the moment, my dad runs a citroen garage and he reckons that more people will go for the petrol version, there doesn't seenm any point in a diesel version, although i have been in one and the engine is EXCELLENT  Quote
wozza Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 There is a point for those looking to up the power. It is easy and cheaper to get the diesel to 150hp than it is to do the same to the Petrol. Can get the diesel to 150 for £300ish while getting better mpg. But I just prefer petrol engines in small hatches. The big diesel lump can't do much for the handling. Quote

Economy was fantastic with the display saying over 500miles on a tank. Have placed an order can not wait till it arrives. Quote
wozza Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Once you get it and have done some miles on it get it remapped 145ish bhp and better MPG with a large increase in driveability and torque. Irons out all the flat spots etc. In a car that size that has to be fun. Quote
