AndrewR Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Hi, I've just bought a [nearly new] C4 HDi and, although I'm having great fun, cannot locate the recommeded tyre pressure levels in the manual. The dealer referred me to Citroen UK who, upon query, referred me back to my dealer....! Can anyone please enlighten me? Thanks. Quote
wozza Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 When you open the drivers door there should be a plaque there with the recommended pressures depending on weight you're carrying etc. Quote

jason2 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 As Wozza says - looks like this: http://bigjohnd.250free.com/CitC4/tyresize.jpg Hi yeah I got the same table with those numebr 2.4 2.1 2.7, what do they mean? shouldn't these be some numbers like 28, 30 or 32??? Quote
GreedyPig Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Figures are in Bar, not lb/square inch. Roughly 1 bar = 14.5bs/sq.in Therefore 2.1bar = 30.5lb/sq.in and 2.4bar = about 35 lb/sq.in.2.7 bar = 39lb/sq.in Quote

Saves a lot of trouble. Quote

amjl2000 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Hey Big JohnD/Wozza/et al, I am slightly disturbed to find on my 1.6Hdi that there is no sticker on the door with the tyre pressures (believe me, i also checked in other places, and my last car was a saxo so I know what I'm looking for!)... I'm wondering if this now is a case of having a replacement door? the shut lines look ok, so I don't think there's a problem... Anyway, because of the quality of the top of the photo, can I ask someone to confirm the details?I would read it asF 2.4 R 2.1 for unladenF 2.4 R 2.7 for laden? I am unsure why the details aren't also in the manual? Many thanksAlex Quote
wozza Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Yep those are the correct pressure you have got. Or if you are wanting it in PSI as someone else did the conversion down below. unladen35psi front. 30psi rear laden35psi front. 39psi rear Sticker is not actually on the door. So can't see how a new door would have caused it to go missing. Seems odd it is not there though. Quote
CE08LDB Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 If You go on Kwik Fits Web Site there is a section on there where you can put your registration in and it will tell you your size tyres and the pressures Quote
