wozza Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Dunno about them needing a screw my flip key is absolutely solid. been dropped enough times and just thrown onto the unit etc and its fine. But its always a right bitch when you get a new car and its not perfect quite upsetting. You expect to have no problems where as buying one slightly older is usually better as all the little problems have been sorted (usually) Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 The car is going in Monday to have it checked and the key replaced. They would have had a look today but my brother has things to do. If there will be anymore problems like the last car I don't think he will have a Citroen again. This is his 4th one now and the last 2 cars have been a nightmare. I hope this one en't heading down the same road. Lee. Quote
wozza Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Tell him to get a C4 instead <_< Just playing. Shame though although forum does seem to have so many people with C3's who all have problems and the C4 owners seem to have small niggly ones in comparison that are easily fixed. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 He has to keep this car now for 3 years. My Sisters Saxo has run like clock work Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 The New C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive http://shutter03.pictures.aol.com/data/pictures/06/001/5E/FF/F9/2D/wX75HiPACZPOhhfRMGaTzbNFUlDhqwMT0280.jpghttp://shutter05.pictures.aol.com/data/pictures/07/005/45/FF/D2/7B/MVsI-soUyVQ6RsipVO3p3SI31-BbrVkL0280.jpghttp://shutter03.pictures.aol.com/data/pictures/07/003/37/FD/42/93/a2fIn4xKIb2o4ALo8PGk1hXbs0U0hBLe0200.jpghttp://shutter04.pictures.aol.com/data/pictures/03/001/74/DF/08/15/8O4T0CWzguqKOqoZ4l6KM1a6gPIcfRj10280.jpg I do rather the old model C3 like mine Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Petrol guage is better in my C3 even my brother said that Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Took my car to the dealer on Friday to have the seat done and on my way home with my sister I had a call asking could I come and pick the back up car up as they have the wrong part. So I went back to get it and they were very sorry and said did I want my recall done on Monday instead of waiting to the 27th and they will arrange for the seat then to be done at a later date. So it wasen't to bad really Quote
pork_pie Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 If my memory serves me right, it was the bottom seat cushion that needed replacing? They ordered the wrong part? Did they order a seat cushion from a C6? Hows your brothers car?! Nice pictures. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 They sent the plastic part instead of a cushion :D My brother had a puncture on Friday so there is one horrible Black wheel on there as they don't use Alloys as spare. It was only 369 miles on it. That is where the wheel trims came in handy as you could just put it back on but there you are. Quote
wozza Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Yeah like mine think my spare is a 15" wheel and my standards are 17" probably very little difference between them though with the tyre sizes. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I had my recall done. Got there at 9.20am finally left at 11.10am. They said it would be ready at 10.30 but there you are. The Showroom was empty as they are having the floor cleaned. Funny seeing a showroom with no cars in it. I have been there in the past when they have been putting cars in there and you wanna here the tyres going on the floor it is really loud. They did have some cars in another part of the Garage. I sat in a C4 VTR+ Coupe. Very nice. It was in the showroom and there was a glass missing out of the mirror. And a C2 with just two wheel trims. They are going to give me a ring when my seat is there. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Had a phone call from my Dealer telling me the seat cushion has arrived and they are going to do it on Thursday at 2pm. God at the Dealers twice in 1 week. I have been there nearly every other week since my brothers car was written off. No wonder all the staff know me by my name and I know all their names.lol Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 The Peugeot 1007 has the Same Sensodrive gear box then. http://imageserver.autoexposure.co.uk/remotemanaged/AETA89888/AETV666367_2b.jpg Wonder are they more reliable than the Citroens Sensodrive system. The Peugeot uses almost the same equipment Air Con screen wiper stalk mirrors switch etc but a different gear stick. Same paddles. Quote
pork_pie Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Nice interior. Shame about the appearance of the car. Furutistic price tag, futuristic design Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Well its now the time to order a new car. I have enjoyed every minute of ownership in my currunt C3 and ill miss it when it goes back to Motability in April. I have decided on a new car. I will be having another C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive. Either in Blue or Red would have liked another Green one but the C3 is longer avalible in Green I had the last one back in 2005. I could have a C3 1.6i 16v SX Automatic but I like the Sensodrive so the Sensodrive it shall be. Just hope the next car will be as good as this one. Quote
