Hi all, I have a late 95 TD. I have had suspension woe's off and on for a while now, I am at my whits end now. I just seem to be throwing money away.

I do most of my work myself but entrust a Citroen specialist with the suspension work. I'm a bit reluctant to keep spending money.

I have had all the spheres replaced within the last 12 months, and am now looking at replacing the height correctors, both front and back. (Or so I think. HELP!)

The problems before were related to bumpy ride and dropping height at the rear.

Now the front and rear are stuck in the highest position. The front was the first to go, so I went underneath to investigate. I couldn't find anything out of place, so I gave both correctors a good lube with WD40. Since I did this the rear is stuck in the high position too. It will come down at the rear, but when it does it goes all the way down.

Is there a special lubricant to use? As this seems to have caused a problem with the rear.

Can the correctors be stripped, to free any possible sticky parts/valves?

Will I be able to get reconditioned height correctors or will it have to be new parts?

Thanks in advance. Martin
