Guest R Sherman Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Hi now the weather is cold the heaters decide not to work on my girlfriends car. Sometimes when you get in they work then on the return journey they dont, 90% of the time they dont, has anyone got any ideas thanks. :) Hello, I've had very a similar problem over the past couple of weeks on the same model (estate version). After doing a bit of research I am advised that the heater blower motor resistor maybe at fault. I obtained a spare of said item, opened Haynes at the right page and trundled off down the route of changing it to find that the heater assembly (and I guess, the resistor unit) looks quite different than the Haynes illustrations. If you do get this one solved I would be interested...also why the difference between my trusted Haynes and the real deal?? Quote
