Just been out in my xantia today when the "stop" light came on.Looked under the bonnet and noticed lhm fluid leaking onto the bodywork, near to where the radiator filler is.Cannot really see where it is coming from.is it just a seal from one of the spheres that is perished or do i need to replace the sphere?. The front spheres were replaced about a year ago and the rear ones about two months ago.Would the repair be costly at an independant citroen specialist ?.While i am here any advice on a heater blower that refuses to blow, again is this an expensive repair?.The car is a 96 1.9.t.d. with 141k on the clock, had it for 6 years and rather attached to it,but don`t want to spend a fortune on it because i intend to replace it soon with a HDi xantia.Any advice would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Stephen, I am not an expert but I would say judgng by where you say the leak is, it is possibly the accumalator sphere. Is the steering heavy, or brakes not working as they should? If you have any of these problems it could be the aforementioned sphere. It is located at the front of the engine, if you look down between the radiator and engine block you should be able to see it. Good news is that if this the problem it is not an expensive fix, new spheres can be obtained from http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ for around £20. Hope this is of help.
