Hi All

I have just managed to pickup a replacement gearbox for my 2001 Xsara 1.4. However when we removed the old gearbox, the linkage on the new box was different. The old linkage has a 90% kink in it but the new one is straight. The gearbox is exactly the same in all other aspects. The conecting rod from the old gearbox has both the ball sockets facing the same way. What I need is a connecting rod where one end is at 90% to the other to fit. The rod in question is about 230mm. Breaker has not been to helpful regarding the part needed. Has anyone else had this problem or overcome it with a modifaction.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards

Alan
