Did you remove any other bits and/or pieces, to get to the damp?

I've had the same problem - but because its on the passenger side its impossible to get at.

All I can do is to remove the covers of the battery and fuse box (and the random other bit), unclip the back of the headlight box and stick some kitchen roll in to suck some of the water out.

Another garage job

yep you have no chance on the passenger side exept to take the headlight out .other thing is it is very time consuming as water can hide deep at the frount of the headlight
