Hi everyone. I recently bought a moduboard from my Cirtroen dealer, I was told, according to Citroen technical, it would fit straight in. There does not seem to be any mountings in the boot for it to fit. I asked my dealer and they said they will check again for me. Has any body had the same problem ? or can some one, who already has a C3 with the moduboard fitted, tell me what the mountings look like. I have a 57 C3 1.4 HDI Cool. Many thanks.

I've got an 03 plate HDi Desire and that has the fittings for a moduboard - I bought one second hand and it fits fine.

There are just the locators eitherside of the boot and it then folds down onto the ledge against the rear panel, or onto the plastic retainers on the inner quarter trims if you want it out of the way. Just the same as the pic.

Got one on my 52 SX, very much as photo. Seems they're not restricted to the exclusive, I've not heard that one before.

(Edit)-Just checked Citroen's Website. Moduboard is fitted as standard on Exclusive models and 'extra parts may be needed to fit to other models'. Mine was on the car when I bought it s/hand so may have been ordered from new or fitted by the first owner as an accessory.

Thanks for the info. There are no such brackets in my car. I will let you know how I get on with my dealer.

They where standard on the sx up to 2004-2005 and now they seem to be an extra fit

Aaah, so that explains mine then; 2002-standard fit from new. :D

I got back in touch with Citroen, it seems you have to buy the boot side panels & the rear panel. It is a lot of money to shell out, and the fact the rear panels have to be disturbed.

Any way I did get my money back for the moduboard I had bought.

A lot of money £64.00 for the moduboard plus £45.00 each for the side panels, also a rear panel would be needed, don't know how much that is.

Regards.

nother cost cutting from Citroen. They were available but now stopped. I fancied them in my two C3s but was put off by the price. I expect you could have fitted some kind of support in place of the side mounts.

I like the Moduboard its a hand feature and It keeps my stuff from rolling about in the boot.

I will find it funny having a smaller boot when I have the C2.

I have a moduboard that came with the car but I cannot see any advantage for it?

It does come in handy occasionally-

Shopping last week with the missus, arrive back at the car with 5 heavy bags of groceries, one large tray of eggs and a bouquet of flowers. Eggs and flowers in first, close moduboard floor, pile 5 bags in on top and drive home secure in the knowledge that nothing's going to fall onto the eggs and the flowers will arrive uncrushed.

Have to admit I've only used it two or three times, mind you, but it does work.
