Hi Reservex,

The part you are talking about is the Hydraulic Pressure Regulator. Your best bet is to try and get one from a scrapper, there is a few brackets that hold the hydraulic pipes in place that have to be removed to replace this unit. I have just had mine replaced as I had the same problem, I took one from a scrapper and was lucky as the radiator had been removed, but it still took about 45 mins to remove. New part is approx £135 from Citroen, don`t know about reconditioned units.

Hope this is of help to you. Oh, before I forget, there are only 3 bolts holding the unit in place, 2 on the front and 1 on the side of the gearbox. One on the front also doubles as part of the brackets for the pipework, so these brackets have to be removed before you can remove this bolt.

Hi,

I had no probs, as far as i could see from GSF`s website, there are only 2 listed, one of these is for the Mk2 Xantia. Best off if you can find a Xantia the same model and year as yours to be safe, although shoudn`t be any problem. :(
