Hi everyone,

I've got a 2.0hdi sx c8, which I've had for just over a year now, with no problems until this week.

The doors, wing mirrors, windows etc. had stop working, so I decided to look through the fuses

to check if any had blown, and sure enough, fuse 4 (bsi 15a) ,located within lower dash on the driver's side, had blown.

I replaced it, and all seemed well until the next day, when the same happened again.

Obviously, there must be an underlying fault somewhere, any suggestions where to start looking.

Hope to hear from anyone with advice.

if you know what components are fed from this fuse you could dissconnect 1 at a time until it stops blowing. would pay to check wiring for chaffing around pedal box area etc. you could also do a volt drop test across the battery and get someone to work each window at a time to make sure they are all pulling the same amount of amps (engine not running).

Thanks for that - I'll try each component individually and let you know how I get on.

Cheers
