Guest ian collis Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 hi all, how many xsara owners out there lift the bonnet by holding/grabbing the big chrome badge in the grille and close it by pushing down on it :o , well DON'T DO IT ANYMORE this badge is only pushed into holes then melted at the back to hold it in place and it NOT very strong at all, the badge can't be re-paired and you just can't get one from a scrappy they break off too. how many xsara's have you seen on the road with missing front badges :( a new one is £75  and this has to be fixed on by melting it as well !!!, just what is wrong in using a recessed nut/bolt !..... i'll tell you production costs :( ian.
