Unknown Warning Light

i have 1998 xsara and recenly an orange warning light has started flashing when the ignition is turned on it stops as soon as the car is started it is next to the airbag light can anyone tell me what this light is as i can not find it in the Heynes workshop manual

i have 1998 xsara and recenly an orange warning light has started flashing when the ignition is turned on it stops as soon as the car is started it is next to the airbag light can anyone tell me what this light is as i can not find it in the Heynes workshop manual

 

If it is immediately to the left of the 'Air Bag' light - its a warning that there is water in the fuel filter(diesel models only I think)

If it is immediately to the right of the 'Passenger Air Bag Deactivation' light its a warning there is a problem with the anti-lock braking system.

could anyone be so kind as to offer their help please. am driving a 2003 xsara vtr

just had to replace the alternator on it as it died completley. but now the battery doesnt get any charge at all. the battery is less than a year old and holds charge when plugged into the house chargerwhen fully charged it will start the car 4-5 times but then the car refuses to start untill i bump itr when i try wityh the key it goes to and the just stops. PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME SPARE

it is proberbly the water in fuel light
