Having only stumbled across this website last week and following the link to www.c3pluriel.org.uk I found out some really useful information about my car. I didn't realise I could set the car to autolock so that when I pull away it locks the doors automatically, I also didn't realise the car was fitted with "Follow me home" headlights. I have now checked the recall codes in my fuse box and can take my car to France and get it to display speed in kmh. None of this I knew before finding this website - so thanks to everyone who has contributed useful information to the site.

I have owned my car more than 4 years and probably should have known all this information before now.

My only gripe now is how to stop the CD Player from resetting to track 1. There have been some suggestions on this site that a disconnected earth wire is the cause - but I need to know more!! I have noticed that if you leave the headlights on, or don't lock the car you can remove the keys from the ignition and for a couple of minutes the CD Player will memorise where it has stopped. I have tackled Citroen over this issue many times and they have always sworn that it was a software issue and there are no plans to upgrade it. The later models with the revised dashboard don't suffer this problem - according to a Citroen Customer Service Manager who called me from HQ in Slough. Seems a bit drastic to buy a new Pluriel just to cure the CD problem.

Is there anyone else that know more?

The CD players earth wire was disconnected as part of a recall on early cars. This was a safety measure in case any water got into the electrics and allowed the system to short and start a fire.

The result is when you turn off the ignition and remove power to the cd it forgets the last track being played.
