svracer12 Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Hi guys new to forum, new car as well I have a got Saxo 1.1i its a Y plate. I want to attach a tow bar to my car, I need it for towing my race bike (motorbike) to the tracks around the county, I'm doing track days, then later on racing in mini twins. I found a tow bar on ebay; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-106-CITROEN-...1QQcmdZViewItem I just wanted to know how easy it will be to fit to the car and what I have to wire the towbar electrics up tp the rear wire loom, or into the rear lights. Can any help please. I live around the North London/Aylesbury area. How much would it cost to get it fitted as well? I would like to do the job by myself. Thanks for any help/advice. Guest SAXOVTSTURBO Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 i race motocross to and have had about 20 saxos so i change tow bar from 1 to the other, there fairly easy to fit aslong as you have all the right componunts.... if you look under your car and remove the spare wheel and you will see some rectangle holes in the body work, you need to get the nuts behind there before you can bolt the tow bar on. to wire it up is a case of taking you back lights out and "T"ing in to your origional wires, most saxos are the same so if you tell me what colour wires you have i will tell you which go where.
