Hi guys, I have a C2 VTR 1.6 - over the last couple of days the steering has been noticably worse - it's feeling stiff and when travelling at speed gets worse. I have little reason to believe it's anything to do with wheel alightment, although I could be wrong. I also pumped my tyres up after - initially thinking this could be something to do with the poor handling. However, no improvement.

I spoke to a couple of people are they suggested checking power steering fluid levels and the belt etc to make sure that the levels are good and things look to be functioning correctly. However, I'm struggling to find where these are located?

I've had a look in the handbook and there's no mention of them, and I've looked under the bonnet but cannot see where these are located. I had a look under the bonnet of my mates Peugeot 107 as they're fairly similar cars, but again - couldn't find anything.

Could anyone point out where I'm going wrong here? Do I need to take it to a garage?

Unfortunately I'm fairly unfamiliar with the workings of cars...so please go easy on me

you cant find it mate because its not there. c2's have an electric motor on the rack. they dont use hydralics on these so your problem is probably the motor, or the ecu. is your car out of warrenty.
