Just took delivery of new C3 Hdi Sensodrive and just above the right hand rear seat, tucked into the ceiling trim, is a black plastic thing like a letter 'T' with small LEDS in in, red and green. It says 'Meta System' on it. No idea what this is - is it something to do with an alarm? I didn't specify an alarm but I wonder if this is fitted anyway as standard - and only connected if you have an alarm... Thanks.

Will probably be the alarm I know they are standard on the higher specs. Unfortunately I have an 04 Hdi Desire but contrary to reports on here has so far provided 8,300 miles of trouble free motoring just as the BX, ZX and 2 xsaras I have had have. How do you like the sensodrive? Wish I'd gone for the SX even if it meant swapping for the petrol version.

Thanks

I should be taking delivery of my C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive Sensodrive next week hopefully so I will look at this plastic on my rear seats because mine has an alarm.

toblerone Shame you didn't get your C3 Desire this year. Because they have given it a new look now. Colour Coded bumpers. Different Seat Pattern. Different Wheel Trims and a colour Gear Knob. It really makes the Desire model look better because it was exactly the same as LX really but the Desire had a CD Player and Air Con. My mate got a 54 2005 C3 1.4HDi Desire (New Look) Artic Steel. He really likes it.

Found out what it is; it's the control box and visual display for the reversing sensors. When you select reverse that's where the bleep comes from.
Sensodrive great - really pleased with car!
