Hi there! There are two plugs in the gearbox. Both on the nearside of the car. One is on the bottom side of the differential casing and is the drain plug. The other is on the side of the box forward of the steel pressing. This is the level plug. Remove the plug and fill the box through it until the oil flows out of the hole, then replace the plug. This should be done with the car level so that the gearbox level is correct. The Oil is probably 70w/80 EP and comes in 1 litre bottles. They sometimes have an extending spout so that the oil can be squeezed out of them and into the gearbox. Another way is to get a funnel and a piece of tubing which will fit on the funnel and go into the hole. It takes a while and is AWKWARD! The garages generally have a large syringe type thing that they use for this purpose you may even be able to buy one from Halfords or such.

Cheers Hope this helps.

Did you find the plug to fill the gearbox as I have just done the very thing that you have on a 14HDi SX, I just registered to write the same msg.
