I currently own a citroen xsara stateside (1.6) and I am currently interested in purchasing a citroen xsara 1.4Lxi but I have 2 queries.

1. I have recently purchased a trailer tent 'trigano chanilly' which has a fully laden weight of 495Kg, does anyone know if this car is capable of towing this without any problem?

2. I travel approximately 500 miles every weekend, all motorway driving, does anyone know what I should expect mpg?

Your help would be appreciated.

PS I am looking at the car today.
