Hi.

I've just bought a 2 sensor kit from Aldi for my 2006 C3 Hdi and all appears well with it. (i.e. runs well on the bench from a 9v battery). Can anyone advise me of the best way to get at the reverse light wiring (yellow according to the Haynes manual) and a convenient earth point? I've removed the LH rear cluster light but short of sticking the supply wire to the sensor control into the cluster light plug I can't see a convenient alternative method. Are the car wiring looms to the rear accessible from inside the car?

On another topic I was reading earlier, are the questions regarding changing the dispay to km/hr and lts/100ks closed as on the C3 its easy to do using the radio/cd menu button let me know.

I bought JML Parking Sensors for My C3 just plug it into the lighter and press the button when wanting to reverse which I am glad I bought it as I can swap it over to my new car.

 Hi,

I'd thought of that option too but how have you got round mounting the sensors if you want to take the kit to your next car?

Pardon my ignorance, but are parking sensors really necessary on such a small car with such large windows?

Maybe not, but when you've got more than one driver it just adds that bit of extra insurance. And all for the price of £15.00 anyway.

Yepp it is a small car with large windows, but the problem for a shortass like me is that it is impossible to see any of the corners - I find the C3 much more difficult to park than my previous car (Peugot 406 estate).

Beginning to get used to it now tho' - after only 6+ years driving it........... :(
