Newbie here,

Hope someone can help or advise. Just bought the wife a pic 2003 2L.

Did not try radio on test drive, it works as does the cd but every 2 secs or so, bleep...bleep.

I have looked around the site and get the impression it may need to be re coded by a dealer, fine.

I have seen that diss con' the battery and re-connect may do the trick if its the oem kit, which it appears to be. Some poeple say you have to make sure all doors are closed, ignition off ( of course ), then wait 3 mins for the computer to go to sleep before removing the batt' terminal.....Help

Can anyone advise on the correct procedure battery disconnection,

Thanks in advance

Do you live in an area where there is no Radio data (RDS) or traffic info? Up here in Shetland we dont have any of the ghastly interuptions that masquerade as "Traffic News" so we can listen to Ken Bruce totally uninterupted by other stations drivel! (Bliss!) Thing is, if I do turn on the TA gizmo then the radio bleeps all the time cos it has no feeds.

When I come to the Mainland for any reason and hire a car, the first thing I do is ask the man how you turn off the "TA" They usually look at me as if I'm mad but I can't suffer it! Usually find it's going on about something that's not even close to where you are. Wonder how many accidents are caused by people getting distracted by trying to turn the thing off?

Regarding the other stuff you'd be better advised trying the bespoke "Picasso" Forums. There's a link down the page a bit.

Cheers. I'm propably wrong but I feel better anyway!
