Guest Trusty stallion Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I have a Charcoal grey, 1994 ZX hatch. Has been ticking over nicely for many years now without any major incident. Woh of woh's, last week I clipped a low, unmarked bollard in a carpark with my rear right tail light. The tail light casing fractured as well as the short body strip beneath it. I am really trying hard to find these parts in this colour to replace them but am having a lot of trouble. If anybody knows where I can source these or if anyone is scrapping a similar car for parts I would love to hear from you. I an based in Brighton. Thanks so much, Toby Quote
Guest Colin Hunter Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Hi Toby. Sorry to hear about your mishap. Had a look on good old Ebay and came up with two tail lamp, brand new & boxed starting bid £7! You'll find them at http://search.ebay.co.uk/citroen-ZX-lamp_W...ksid=p1638.m120 The trim panel underneath could be repaired with glue & filler and sprayed up with a touch-up can, available from Citroen for a few pouns or from any good motor factor. Many paint suppliers will fill aerosol cans with the correct paint for a few pounds a can. Remember that if you go down the repair route, that the preparation is the important part. A sloppy repair will show through the paint. The panel may well be available new from Citroen and if so, will probably not cost all that much. Again it will need painted. Cheers. Hope this helps  Quote
