Guest Colin Hunter Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Hi Mollie. It's not a difficult job as there are only the two nuts at each end to undo and replace with the new link. However, the nuts can be awkward to undo as they tend to seize on the exposed and rusty end of the thread, then the whole thing turns. Depending on where the ones that are fitted came from they may have an allen socket in the end to help hold the thread while undoing the nut. I generally find the best course of action if they are reluctant to unscrew is just to hacksaw off the threaded part behind the nut once you've unscrewed it as far as it will go. It won't hurt as they're had it anyway. The longest part of the job is actually jacking up the car and removing the wheel! I've had a look on ebay and came up with this link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-XANTIA-95-99...1QQcmdZViewItemFor TWO links for £14.90 plus £5.46 P&P. Not bad as they're about £60 EACH from Citroen! Cheers. Hope this helps. Quote
