jazzster Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 I was looking in the boot and decided to check the spare wheel. Firstly noticed it was only held by a strap most other cars have a bolt or simliar in the center of the wheel. I would image this will add to noise on bumpy roads. Secondly it does not look like a space saver wheel by the size of it, but it has a sign on saying no more than 50 MPH / 80KPH and the wheel is coloured red. My last C3 had an alloy spare. Citroen seem to be cutting bits of there specs to save money here. No parking ticket holder on windscreen. No Electric folding mirrors etc. Quote
CE08LDB Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 I would have liked the parking ticket holder and the 12v socket like my brother has on his 52 2003 C3 SX Auto. Citroen are taking some good things away. I do like the new trip computer display screen. I see the numbers and the lighting on the rev counter is a bit different on the C3 now than the 2002 - 2003 C3s. Quote
LoonyJohn Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I bought my C3 from JamJar, and it was sent over directly from France. The spare wheel was a full alloy wheel, and it fitted so tightly it was hard to remove from the wheel well, let alone make any rattling noises... There is probably a national citroen import depot for UK dealers where they modify the standard car for UK 'needs' Quote
