Fuel Guge Stopped Working ?

Hi All ...

 

After a trouble free few weeks a gremlin has appeared !!

Stopped at the local shop , came back to the car after about half hour later, switched on to the sound of a bing LOW FUEL WARNING ! thats odd just put £20 in the day before ..

All was working fine before stopping including the fuel guage and now it doesn`t work, the low fuel light is on and the needle just sits at the bottom of the guage ,but all the other instruments work fine ??

Any ideas , anyone had the same trouble ?

I don`t know where to start really as I have done nothing to the car ,just drove it to the shops ..

 

Any help and ideas would be appreciated
