Ok so i am asking! Why do you HAVE to change the pipes on the HDI pump when it fails? And why do you have to change the injectors? Seriously though, my car has been at the garage for 7 MONTHS after a second hand pump was installed after 3 days it failed with the most horrible crunching and grinding noises coming from it, me thinks that said garage stuffed up in some way and is now trying to worm their way out of sorting it! They re-used the old pipes when citroen stipulate that they should NOT be used under any circumstances, guess what!!! Yes the garage re-used them and i have a dead Xantia and nobody wants to take responsibilty. A warning to everyone out there in citroen land ALWAYS take it to a Bosch approved agent if indeed you have a Bosch system, take it to citroen unless you dont want change from 2000 pounds! And dont take it to the bloke down the road who says yep mate fix that no problem!

 

Mart, I am missing that smooth ride ( current car Suzuki Baleno rides like a horse and cart but without the comfort))

my suspension on 99 (t reg) 1.8 sx xantia is very bouncey it raises and lowers fine but if you hit a bump it bounces for britan. while the car is switched off the suspension is like a normal car with regards to pushing the suspension. the hydraulic tank is at the corect level.

any ideas?
