Guest Joanne Hancock Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Hi, Me and my family have bought a 1 previous owner Pluriel and have had a re-occurring problem with the boot licking system. The first time it just went back to the garage but now I'm beginning to wonder........ A crack has appeared in the rubber push button and it no longer opens the boot. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a known issue? Could it be a fuse that's gone? And which one is it? (No mention in the manual) Any help would be greatly received. Jo Quote
Guest Paul's Pluriel Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Jo, I had a crack appear on my boot release button within months of buying the car. I had no problems opening the boot & Citroen replaced it under warranty. My car is now more than 4 years old and I have to admit I have had no repeat of the problem & at no time have I had any issues with the boot release. Sorry I can't be any further help. I rung the garage and they seem to think there may be something wrong with the computer part of the car. It will cost approx £40 to test the computer and then whatever parts it needs on top of that. Bearing in mind I have just paid last week over £200 for a service I feel this isnt on!My last Pluriel leaked until they changed the seals. Why did I buy another I hear you ask????I just love them.I hope someone has some solution to my problem.Jo Quote
Guest ausbinny Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 check that the folding roof is fully closed - if it's already in the closed position just push the roof switch in and see if the canopy moves forward - this may get the boot lock to work again Quote
