Terry1100 Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 Does anyone know if the spanner icon in the display is "smart" at all. Ours is advising 250 miles to go beofre a service when we've only got 8,500 miles on the clock. If it knows that the car is (nearly) always used in town and is allowing for short journeys then fair enough - but if not, what gives ? Quote
hertsnminds Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 My Pluriel service indicator was spot on at 21,000 miles. This allowed for a reset at the 1,000 mile service, plus the 20,000 mile service interval. The C3 book tells you the sequence of buttons to push to reset the service indicator so it is possible to reset it at any time. Ian Orange 03 Senso Quote
Terry1100 Posted May 25, 2005 Author Posted May 25, 2005 Cheers Ian - yes, my C2 was also spot on- if the indicators were "smart", that one would probably not have shown a service for miles more as the C2 spends it's life taking it easy on motorways. Quote
