Hi all,

I am about to place an order for a 5 dr Citroen C1 Vibe (base colour) with my local Citroen dealer. After much haggling, I have got him down to £6,063 which compared to list price looks good - anyone know different or a better deal elsewhere?

Before I hand over the deposit, does anyone know if the model is due an update (it has been out for 3 years now and most manufacturers "freshen" their models after about this time). I know that the replacement is not due for a good long while, but I don't want to be one of those who gets one of the pre-facelifted models.

Thanks

I have seen a picture of a C1 with different bumper as a facelift. It looked worse than the current car. Sounds like you've got a good price there, I'd go for it

Looks a good offer, currently the best Citroen offer/cashback comes to £6555 for the 5 door.

The dealer must need to sell quite a few more cars this month to hit his target.

I can't see an entire new model unless, Citroen C1, Toyota aygo, and Pueg 107 all agree to do it. I woild not worry about minor facelifts.

All the city bugs are selling well, i suppose due to economy (58 MPG) and its reasonable costs.

That price you are offered is very good, i paid just £100 less for a 2 door model, so you are doing well for a 4 door. Citroen always seem to beat the other bugs in price, yet technically they are all the same.

If you go for the car, remember to order the RHS glove compartment cover at £30, it takes half an hour to fit, and really finishes the dash off (It should have been with the car and not an extra, miserable bunch).

Better still, try to get it in your finalised deal :D
