Hi

My blower is full on with no changes when using the speed switch. It cannot be turned off. I purchased a used blower motor with the finned alloy control panel. I fitted this and the system worked for a trip to work then back in the evening. This blower has now failed with the same problem.

I did notice that when using the air-con both normaland re-circulate that the air flow through the vents seemed low and it did not get very cold!

Has anybody had the same problem, has anybody got an idea why this has happened and why the replacement blower went the same way?

We are supposed to be going on holiday to the west country on friday so help would be appreciated as the trouble and strife is getting ready to blame me that it is not sorted.

Thanks

try turning your air distribution about 5mm back from screen position.. Also there is a sensor located on the back of the display panel cowl.. if it becomes disloged it falls against the heater matrix and tells the system that the airflow is not sufficient irrespective of whatever you set the control at

I had the same, I changed the Rheostat after buying new, but saw a note from Ian Collins on here, look for his name and pollen filter .. mine was black not white - there were wasps, seeds, flies you name it ... I blew it out with an airline, temp and an enormous gust of dust appeared - seems to blow a lot better now and all is back to normal. I too had the uncontrolable blower on full no matter what.
