Hook Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 2002 '52reg 1.4 HDi SX (70bhp) in rainforest green with grey interior.Bought it 11 months ago from one elderly owner with full stamped-up dealer service history and apart from a service last year and two new tyres yesterday, I've had to replace 1, yes one headlamp bulb! One of the nicest cars I've ever owned, (in 41 years of motoring), and a pleasure to drive. Mine for many more years I hope. Quote

citroeneddie Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Wife used to own 2004 1.4 Desire, but have just bought 2008 1.1 Vibe with added cruise. Do I regret not having air con? Nah, uses fuel, cool blower good enough, no worries about seizing if not used or servicing, no bacteria build up. 1.1 engine eager enough for mainly two people, never use fog lights, solid red looks good, good value. £6450 on the road works out at about £1,000 cheaper than competitors equivalents, eg Fiesta, Corsa,Fabia and Clio. Cheap to run on petrol, insurance and servicing once every two years. And it still looks good even after 6 years. Quote

I used to run it once a month to keep the pipes ok but apart from that. I was pleased when I picked the C2 VTR as it didn't have Air Con but mine has as its now a standard fit on the VTR but I still don't use it. Its ok to have Air Con if you have a diesel Quote

Guest C3 for me Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I currently have the 2010 C3 Exclusive 1.6l HDI manual - have only owned it for 2 months. It's the powdery blue one with the visiodrive roof. I previously owned a 2005 C3 Exclusive 1.6l manual petrol model in light metallic blue. Been driving my Citroens for 5+ years now - used to have a Peugeot 206 1.6l prior to that, and even earlier I used to drive Hondas. I have become a French car convert - I just love they way they look and drive. Not sure if that's because the smaller models are styled towards the ladies? Jennie in Brisbane, Australia Quote

ukwide Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Her in doors is on her 3rd C3 Exclusive: 1st was a 53 plate Wicked Red Sensodrive Exclusive, bought and ordered from new and was a lovely car to drive, polished up well too.2nd was a 55 plate light blue Sensodrive Exclusive, which again she ordered from new and specced up with leather interior. However, the local Citroen dealer carries a Zero award for after sales customer service, so never went back.3rd was a 59 plate Wicked Red Automatic Exclusive with leather interior, purchased 2nd hand with 11k on the clock for £5600 Looked on the www and all the others with upto 20k were going for £6500+, had the car two weeks now and its bloody stunning and never went anywhere near the local shysters. Good deal on a very low mileage full history car, well happy she is..... GarySalisbury Quote
sushiewushie Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I recently bought my first ever C3. It's a 1.4 hdi Exclusive light blue and a 52 reg. It's amazing how many I'm noticing now. I never really knew they existed till I bought mine! Lovely car :-) Moderator joke: Keep this one. I've sold the other five for you. Quote

llama Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I love my 2003 C3 Sx 1.4 diesel. I bought it in November 2012 and it has been such an excellent car. It's cheap to run as the mpg is so high, road tax only £30 per year. I'm jealous that my partner now uses it everyday for commuting and I'm limited to using it on weekends! Quote
