Hi there, all!

Within 10 mins of being in the car, our dog chewed the light stalks, destroying the controls for the lights! My husband has replaced the stalks, but now the lights are permenently on and we have no ability to have dipped beam. The only way we can turn the lights off is to remove the fuse. He thinks it may be the ecu, but as this is so expensive to replace, does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks alot everyone!

Hi there

I dont think the ecu controls anything like this. Are you completely sure you fitted the wiring bac properly.

Were the stalks new or from a scrappy? cos if they were from a scrappy, might have been a dodgy stalk. Personally, touching the ecu would be a last resort for me.

Do the other controls like the indicators and the horn work?

Good luck, and please let us know how you get on :)
