Led Display For Radio And Sat Nav

Hi,

 

I am considering buying a used Xsara with the LED display function, but the display is defective (works but lines all through it)

 

I feel confident it is just the display that is duff - two questions:

 

1) Is it hard to change.

2) Is it expensive to change.

 

Thanks in advance for any feedback. Also - what is the timing belt replacement frequency?
