Hi,looking at adding the rear package shelf w/ 2 rear speakers. Is this fairly easy to do yourself.I'm pretty handy w/ tools and such just wondering if anyone had done it themselves or knew a online guide to it?

There would be no problem fitting speakers in the back parcel shelf, most come with a cutout template, and remember to fit plugin connectors in the wiring loom at the back, so when you remove the shelf occasionally, you can unplug the speakers.

According to the handbook, the headunit has fader controls, so it does balence front/back speakers, hence it will take a four speaker system, though you do need to connect the wiring into the back of the unit.

Cabling can be hidden under the carpet along one edge of the car.

OK,Thanks.I guess the c1 doesn't have pre-installed wiring for the rear speakers then.Damn I was hoping the wiring would be in place! Guess I'll go with mounting my own speakers instead of buying the Citroen shelf that comes w/ 2 speakers already installed. So 4 new speakers, a power amp and a little wiring work and the stereo should be at least respectable!
