Mike Harries Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 I am trying to replace the upper near-side suspension ball-joint on my DS and wondered if anyone had any experience of how much torque is normally needed to remove the top nut (ie the castellated nut that keeps the ball in place). I'm using the correct tool and have done the best I can to 'peel back' any peening done to secure the nut but even with a 3 ft extension bar, the nut refuses to move. I don't want to damage the suspension so any help offered would be greatly appreciated. Quote
