Just thought I would post this for comment

I was away for the weekend (2004 2.0 HDI 110 VTR Estate) when the dreaded Anti Pollution Fault message and engine management and service lights came on with no rev's (first time ever - for me anyway)

Checked fuses and found No. 1 (engine bay) blown ( red 10 amp listed as reversing lights)

Changed fuse and had full power back but lights stayed on, As the tank was pretty low i went to the garage for some fresh diesel and when restarted the lights were gone.

Reversed back onto the camp-site and got the same message again with the fuse blown.

Checked reversing sensor and found a dead short (easy fix and back to full power.) and this time it's stayed fixed !!!!

Now what I'm struggling to understand is, why should a fuse controlling the reversing lights affect the fuel system.

Anyone got any suggestions ???
